It is my great pleasure to invite you to the international conference “Civil Defence in an Age of Crises and Wars: Science and Practice for Civilian Safety”, taking place on 28-29 October 2025 at the Conference Centre of the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences (Kase 61, Tallinn, Estonia).
The conference is organised by the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, bringing together civil defence and security experts, researchers, and policymakers from across Europe.
Please note that the working language of the conference is English without translation.
Over two days, the programme will address:
The event will also feature panel discussions and hands-on workshops, offering opportunities for dialogue and cooperation. Participation is possible on-site and online. Please note: Workshops are only available to on-site participants. There is no online broadcast.
We look forward to welcoming up to two representatives per institution on-site. Please note that online participation is not limited.
Registration is open until 30 September 2025.
