Thank you for your e-mail and interest!
We have planned to start internal consultations on the transposition of the directive in the first quarter of 2025.
This means that public consultation is likely not to be expected earlier than second quarter of 2025.
We will keep you on our list and include you once we have more information.
Until then, kindly let us know in case you have more questions. Myself and Ms Maria-Helena will be points of contact regarding the transposition procedure.

My name is Oscar Arias and I’m the Managing Director of the EU Trade Association Direct Selling Europe (DSE), the European association that represents European and international companies selling their own products directly to consumers.
On 11 November, the EU Official Journal published the EU Directive on improving the working conditions in platform work (EU 2024/2831). The directive must be transposed
into national law by the 2nd of December 2026 at the latest.
Would you be so kind as to let me know who/what department in your ministry will be responsible for the transposition procedure? My association would like to participate in the public consultation as soon as possible.
