2nd WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit, 2025

Restoring balance for people and planet The science and practice of health and well-being

Coordinated by the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre with the Government of India The 2nd World Health Organization (WHO) Traditional Medicine Global Summit will take place from December 17-19, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India. The Global Summit will bring together up to 5’500 (500 in-person and 5,000 online) participants over three days of sharing, collaboration, and action to advance the objectives of the new WHO Global Strategy for Traditional Medicine (2025-2034), adopted by the World Health Assembly in May 2025. Vision: Restoring well-being and balance for our lives and world through insights from traditional medicine and science. Goal: WHO is committed to organizing a Global Traditional Medicine Summit every two years. The first WHO Summit, in 2023, set a global agenda and raised the global visibility and political attention to the traditional medicine around the world, concurrent with the G20 Summit in India under India’s presidency. The 2025 Summit will deepen and broaden knowledge of traditional practices linked to scientific advances to enhance health and well-being and restore balance. The contribution of traditional medicine to the improvement of national health systems will also be highlighted. Together, Summit participants will advance the development of an inclusive global movement to uphold the rights of all people to access comprehensive resources for health and well-being. Rationale: The Summit will advance the implementation of the WHO Global Strategy for Traditional Medicine (2025–2034), adopted at WHA78. Bringing together policymakers with scientists, academics, health practitioners, and civil society, the Summit will focus on shared knowledge and approaches to integrate evidence-based traditional medicine in health systems, promote access and equity, and strengthen sustainability. As the world grapples with NCDs, climate change, AMR, and health inequities—against a backdrop of reduced investments—this is a critical moment to reimagine healthcare. By blending scientific innovation with cultural wisdom, and championing regulation and sustainability, the Summit will help advance Universal Health Coverage and the Sustainable Development Goals, while inspiring a global movement for health and planetary balance. 2025 Summit theme:

Hybrid event: The 2025 WHO TM Global Summit will invite up to 500 invited delegates across all WHO regions for dialogue, political engagement, and multistakeholder action, engaging Indigenous Peoples, practitioners and health professional groups, Governments, youth groups, non- governmental organizations, academia, and the private sector. The Summit will also offer an interactive virtual platform for up to 5,000 online participants. It will unite and amplify the outcomes of national and regional meetings on traditional medicine, guided by a global roadmap of pre-Summit events and opportunities in 2025. Participation: Indigenous Peoples, Government leaders, practitioners, health professionals, faith leaders, academics and researchers, media, private sector, NGOs, user groups, and others.  In person – Up to 500 delegates, invitations and registration organized by six WHO regional

offices  Online – Open registration of up to 5,000 participants from all regions. Programming to be live-

streamed and recorded for post-Summit access, including post-Summit launch of high-level interviews recorded during the Summit. UN language translations and sign language.

financing and partnerships to advance TM research, innovation, and digital health solutions, thereby enhancing the global contribution of TM to universal health coverage and resilient healthcare systems.

第二届世界卫生组织（世卫组织）传统医学全球峰会将于 2025 年 12 月 17 日至 19 日

在印度新德里巴拉特曼达帕姆会议中心举行。为期三天的全球峰会预计将汇聚多达 5500

名与会者（500 人现场参会，5000 人线上参会），共同分享、协作与行动，推动落实

2025 年 5 月在世界卫生大会上通过的《世卫组织传统医学全球战略（2025—2034 年）》

目标。

愿景：借助传统医学与科学的智慧，为我们的生活与世界重拾健康与平衡。

目标：世卫组织承诺每两年举办一次传统医学全球峰会。2023 年在印度举行的首届世卫

组织峰会设定了全球议程，提升了对传统医学的全球可见性和政治关注度，并与印度担任

主席国的二十国集团（G20）峰会同期举行。2025 年峰会将进一步深化和拓宽对传统实践

与科学进步相结合的认识，以增进健康与福祉，恢复平衡。同时，还将特别强调传统医学

对改善国家卫生系统的贡献。峰会与会者将共同推动建立一个包容性的全球运动，维护所

有人享有获取全面健康与福祉资源的权利。

核心理念：本届峰会将推动落实第七十八届世界卫生大会通过的《世卫组织传统医学全

球战略（2025—2034 年）》。通过汇聚政策制定者、科学家、学者、卫生从业人员及民

间社会代表，峰会将聚焦知识共享与方法交流，以推动循证传统医学融入卫生系统，促进

可及性与公平性，并加强可持续性。当前，世界正面临非传染性疾病、气候变化、抗微生

物药物耐药性与健康不平等等挑战，同时医疗投资却在减少——这是重新构想医疗保健的

关键时刻。通过融合科学创新与文化智慧，并推动监管与可持续性，本次峰会将助力实现

全民健康覆盖与可持续发展目标，同时激发一场追求健康与地球平衡的全球运动。

峰会讨论将围绕最新《世卫组织传统医学全球战略》的目标展开，并以 2023 年 8 月

首届传统医学全球峰会通过的《古吉拉特宣言》为基础。多利益攸关方对话与行动将以最

新的证据与数据为依据，推动科学、创新、社区经验与倡导。互动式“体验空间/展览”

将作为峰会活动的补充，线上线下均可参与。

混合式会议：2025 年世卫组织传统医学全球峰会将邀请来自所有世卫组织区域的多达

500 位代表进行对话、政治互动和多利益攸关方行动，参与者包括土著人民、从业者和卫

生专业团体、政府、青年团体、非政府组织、学术界和私立部门。峰会还将为多达 5000

名在线参与者提供互动式虚拟平台。峰会将根据 2025 年会前活动的全球路线图和机遇，

Le Sommet mondial réunira jusqu’à 5500 participants (500 en présentiel et 5000 en ligne) pendant trois jours d’échanges, de collaboration et d’action pour faire progresser les objectifs de la nouvelle Stratégie mondiale de l’OMS pour la médecine traditionnelle (2025-2034), adoptée par l’Assemblée mondiale de la Santé en mai 2025.

Vision : rétablir le bien-être et l’équilibre dans nos vies et dans le monde grâce aux enseignements fournis par la médecine traditionnelle et la science.

Objectif : l’OMS s’est engagée à organiser tous les deux ans un Sommet mondial sur la médecine traditionnelle. Le premier Sommet de l’OMS, en 2023, a permis d’établir un programme mondial et a accru la visibilité mondiale ainsi que l’attention politique portée à la médecine traditionnelle dans le monde entier, parallèlement au sommet du G20 en Inde sous la présidence de l’Inde. Le Sommet de 2025 sera l’occasion d’approfondir et d’élargir les connaissances sur les pratiques traditionnelles liées aux avancées scientifiques afin d’améliorer la santé et le bien-être et de rétablir l’équilibre. La contribution de la médecine traditionnelle à l’amélioration des systèmes nationaux de santé sera également mise en évidence. Ensemble, les participants au Sommet feront progresser la mise en place d’un mouvement mondial inclusif visant à défendre les droits de toutes les personnes à avoir accès à des ressources complètes pour la santé et le bien-être.

Justification : le Sommet fera avancer la mise en œuvre de la Stratégie mondiale de l’OMS pour la médecine traditionnelle (2025-2034), adoptée lors de la Soixante-Dix-Huitième Assemblée mondiale de la Santé. Réunissant des décideurs politiques, des scientifiques, des universitaires, des praticiens et la société civile, le Sommet sera axé sur le partage des connaissances et des approches visant à intégrer la médecine traditionnelle fondée sur des bases factuelles dans les systèmes de santé, à promouvoir l’accès et l’équité, et à renforcer la durabilité. Tandis que le monde lutte contre les maladies non transmissibles (MNT), les changements climatiques, la résistance aux antimicrobiens et les inégalités en matière de santé, dans un contexte de réduction des investissements, il est temps de repenser les soins de santé. En alliant l’innovation scientifique à la sagesse culturelle, et en défendant la réglementation et la durabilité, le Sommet contribuera à faire progresser la couverture sanitaire universelle et les objectifs de développement durable, tout en suscitant un mouvement mondial en faveur de la santé et de l’équilibre planétaire.

Thème du Sommet 2025 : Rétablir l’équilibre pour les personnes et la planète : la santé et le bien-être en théorie et en pratique.

Le cadre des discussions sera défini par les objectifs de la nouvelle Stratégie mondiale de l’OMS pour la médecine traditionnelle, éclairée par la Déclaration du Gujarat, qui a clôturé le premier Sommet mondial de l’OMS sur la médecine traditionnelle organisé en août 2023. Le dialogue multipartite et les mesures visant à faire progresser la science, l’innovation, l’expérience communautaire et le plaidoyer seront fondés sur les dernières bases factuelles et données disponibles. Un espace interactif dédié aux « différentes expériences et à des expositions » complétera les travaux du Sommet, et sera disponible en présentiel et en ligne.

Événement selon des modalités hybrides : le Sommet mondial de l’OMS sur la médecine traditionnelle 2025 accueillera jusqu’à 500 déléguées et délégués de toutes les Régions de l’OMS dans le but de dialoguer, de s’engager politiquement et de mener des actions multipartites, en mobilisant les peuples autochtones, les praticiens et les groupes de professionnels de la santé, les gouvernements, les groupes de jeunes, les organisations non gouvernementales (ONG), les universités et le secteur privé. Le Sommet comportera également une plateforme virtuelle interactive pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 5000 participantes et participants en ligne. En outre, il permettra d’unir et d’amplifier les décisions issues des réunions nationales et régionales sur la médecine traditionnelle, guidé par une feuille de route mondiale d’événements et d’opportunités préalables au Sommet en 2025.

Второй Всемирный саммит Всемирной организации здравоохранения (ВОЗ) по народной медицине пройдет с 17 по 19 декабря 2025 г. в комплексе «Бхарат-Мандапам» в Нью-Дели, Индия. Трехдневный Всемирный саммит, в работе которого примут участие до 5500 делегатов (500 очно и 5000 дистанционно), призван способствовать обмену опытом, укреплению сотрудничества и совместному планированию действий по достижению целей новой Глобальной стратегии ВОЗ в области народной медицины (на 2025–2034 гг.), принятой Всемирной ассамблеей здравоохранения в мае 2025 г.

Долгосрочная стратегия: восстановить благоденствие и гармонию в нашей жизни и во всем мире, опираясь на достижения народной медицины и науки.

Цель: ВОЗ приняла решение о проведении Всемирного саммита по народной медицине каждые два года. Первый саммит ВОЗ, состоявшийся в 2023 г. в период председательства Индии в Группе двадцати, позволил наметить глобальные задачи в области народной медицины и активизировать интерес мирового сообщества и внимание политических кругов к этой сфере. Саммит 2025 г. призван углубить и расширить понимание взаимосвязей между методами народной медицины и научными достижениями в интересах укрепления здоровья и благополучия людей и восстановления гармонии на планете. Особое внимание будет также уделено роли народной медицины в совершенствовании национальных систем здравоохранения. Совместные усилия участников саммита будут способствовать формированию широкого международного движения в поддержку права всех людей на доступ к широкому кругу ресурсов для поддержания здоровья и благополучия.

Концепция: саммит будет способствовать осуществлению Глобальной стратегии ВОЗ в области народной медицины (на 2025–2034 гг.), принятой семьдесят восьмой сессией Всемирной ассамблеи здравоохранения. Диалог между представителями директивных органов и учеными, исследователями, медицинскими специалистами и гражданским обществом будет направлен на обмен знаниями и выработку подходов, позволяющих внедрять научно обоснованные методы народной медицины в работу систем здравоохранения, расширять сбалансированный охват такими услугами и развивать их в долгосрочной перспективе. Для успешного противодействия неинфекционным заболеваниям, изменению климата,

повышению лекарственной устойчивости инфекций и проявлениям неравенства на фоне сокращения финансирования здравоохранения мировому сообществу как никогда важно переосмыслить методы охраны здоровья. Опираясь на синтез научных инноваций и культурного наследия, а также на достижения в области регулирования и обеспечения устойчивости, саммит будет способствовать расширению всеобщего охвата услугами здравоохранения и осуществлению целей в области устойчивого развития и поможет сформировать всемирное движение за укрепление здоровья и гармонию на планете.

Тема саммита 2025 г.: Восстановление баланса в интересах человека и планеты: наука и практика на страже здоровья и благополучия

Основу для обсуждений на саммите составляют цели новой Глобальной стратегии ВОЗ в области народной медицины с учетом Гуджаратской декларации, принятой в конце первого Всемирного саммита ВОЗ по народной медицине в августе 2023 г. В ходе многостороннего диалога между заинтересованными сторонами и определения мер по продвижению научных исследований и инноваций, практических решений по улучшению жизни людей, а также популяризации народной медицины будут в полной мере учитываться самые современные достижения доказательных наук и наиболее актуальные данные. В дополнение к заседаниям саммита будет организовано интерактивное иммерсивное/выставочное пространство, которое можно будет посетить очно или в режиме онлайн.

Мероприятие в гибридном формате: на Всемирный саммит ВОЗ по народной медицине 2025 г. будет приглашено до 500 делегатов из всех регионов ВОЗ для обмена мнениями, политического взаимодействия и выработки совместных действий с участием различных заинтересованных сторон; в его работе примут также участие представители коренных народов, практикующие специалисты и профессиональные медицинские объединения, представители государственных органов, молодежные организации, неправительственные организации, члены академического сообщества и представители частного сектора. В ходе саммита будет также функционировать интерактивная виртуальная платформа, подключиться к которой смогут до 5000 онлайн-участников. Саммит позволит обобщить и обнародовать итоги национальных и региональных совещаний тематике народной медицины на основе глобальной дорожной карты подготовительных мероприятий и встреч в 2025 г.

Состав участников: коренные народы, руководители органов государственной власти, практикующие специалисты, медицинские работники, религиозные лидеры, ученые и исследователи, представители СМИ, частного сектора, НПО, объединений пациентов и многие другие.

• В формате личного присутствия: до 500 делегатов, приглашенных и зарегистрированных шестью региональными бюро ВОЗ.

• В онлайн-формате: свободная регистрация для 5000 участников из всех регионов. Заседания будут транслироваться в прямом эфире онлайн и в записи после саммита; кроме того, по завершении саммита будут опубликованы интервью с высокопоставленными участниками, записанные во время мероприятия. В ходе мероприятия будет обеспечиваться перевод на шесть языков ООН и жестовый язык.

Участникам круглого стола будет предложено обсудить возможности для трансграничного сотрудничества и наращивания потенциала, а также вопросы устойчивого финансирования и налаживания партнерских связей в целях продвижения исследований, инноваций и цифровых решений в сфере народной медицины, с тем чтобы повысить вклад народной медицины в обеспечение всеобщего охвата услугами здравоохранения и повышение устойчивости систем здравоохранения во всем мире.

La Segunda Cumbre Mundial de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) sobre Medicina Tradicional tendrá lugar del 17 al 19 de diciembre de 2025 en Bharat Mandapam, Nueva Delhi (India). La Cumbre Mundial reunirá aproximadamente a 5500 participantes (500 en persona y 5000 en línea) durante tres días de intercambios, colaboración y acciones para hacer avanzar los objetivos de la nueva Estrategia Mundial de la OMS sobre Medicina Tradicional (2025-2034), adoptada por la Asamblea de la Salud en mayo de 2025.

Visión: Restaurar el bienestar y el equilibrio en nuestras vidas y en el mundo a través de conocimientos procedentes de la medicina tradicional y de la ciencia.

Objetivo: La OMS se ha comprometido a organizar una Cumbre Mundial sobre Medicina Tradicional cada dos años. La primera Cumbre de la OMS, celebrada en 2023, estableció una agenda global y aumentó la visibilidad global de la medicina tradicional en todo el mundo y la atención política que se le presta, coincidiendo con la Cumbre del G20 que tuvo lugar en la India durante la presidencia de ese país. La Cumbre de 2025 ahondará en el conocimiento de las prácticas tradicionales vinculadas a los avances científicos, y lo ampliará, con miras a mejorar la salud y el bienestar y restablecer el equilibrio. También se hará hincapié en la contribución de la medicina tradicional a la mejora de los sistemas nacionales de salud. Juntos, los participantes en la Cumbre promoverán la creación de un movimiento global inclusivo para defender los derechos de todas las personas a acceder a recursos integrales para la salud y el bienestar.

Justificación: La Cumbre promoverá la implementación de la Estrategia Mundial de la OMS sobre Medicina Tradicional (2025-2034), adoptada en la 78.ª Asamblea Mundial de la Salud. El evento, que reunirá a responsables de la formulación de políticas, científicos, académicos, profesionales de la salud y representantes de la sociedad civil, se centrará en el conocimiento y los enfoques compartidos para integrar la medicina tradicional basada en la evidencia en los sistemas de salud, promover el acceso y la equidad y fortalecer la sostenibilidad. Mientras el mundo se enfrenta a las enfermedades no transmisibles, el cambio climático, la resistencia a los antimicrobianos y las inequidades en materia de salud, y en un contexto en el que se ha reducido la inversión, nos encontramos en un momento clave para repensar la atención de la salud. Al combinar la innovación científica con la sabiduría cultural y defender la regulación y la sostenibilidad, la Cumbre ayudará a promover la cobertura universal de salud y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, al tiempo que servirá de fuente de inspiración para un movimiento mundial en pro de la salud y el equilibrio planetario.

Los debates se enmarcarán en los objetivos de la nueva Estrategia Mundial de la OMS sobre Medicina Tradicional, basada en la Declaración de Gujarat, que puso punto y final a la primera Cumbre Mundial de la OMS sobre Medicina Tradicional, celebrada en agosto de 2023. El diálogo y las acciones multipartitas para fomentar la ciencia, la innovación, la experiencia comunitaria y las actividades de promoción se basarán en la evidencia y los datos más recientes disponibles. Complementará el programa de la cumbre un «espacio de experiencia/exposición» interactivo, en el que podrá participarse tanto personalmente como en línea.

Evento híbrido: La Cumbre Mundial de la OMS sobre Medicina Tradicional de 2025 invitará a cerca de 500 delegados de todas las regiones de la OMS a dialogar, adoptar compromisos políticos y actuar conjuntamente, y contará con la participación de Pueblos Indígenas, profesionales y grupos de profesionales de la salud, gobiernos, grupos de jóvenes, organizaciones no gubernamentales, instituciones académicas y el sector privado. La Cumbre también ofrecerá una plataforma virtual interactiva a un máximo de 5000 participantes en línea. Unirá y amplificará los resultados de las reuniones nacionales y regionales sobre la cuestión de la medicina tradicional, de acuerdo con la hoja de ruta global de eventos y oportunidades previos a la celebración de la Cumbre en 2025.

• Compromisos: innovaciones e inversiones recientes en medicina tradicional para el bienestar de las sociedades y las economías con el fin de promover los objetivos estratégicos de la Estrategia Mundial de la OMS sobre Medicina Tradicional (2025-2034)
