Subject: Member States’ nominations AI Board sub-group on transparency
Dear Ambassador,
Thank you and your colleagues for your ongoing support of both the European Artificial
Intelligence Board and the Artificial Intelligence Office in 2025.
At the occasion of the launch of the process for drawing up Commission guidelines and a
Code of Practice on transparent AI systems, the AI Board has decided to set up an AI Board
sub-group on transparency.
Therefore, the AI Office kindly requests Member States to nominate one technical-level
representative and one substitute from relevant Member States’ ministries. Nominees
should possess expertise in one or, preferably, multiple areas covered by Article 50 AI Act.
Please send us your nominations in writing to [email protected] by 15
October. Please note that the first meeting will take place on 23 October, thus your timely
nomination is important.
