Subject: Study on Food Affordability in the EU including the contribution of
the Common Agricultural Policy
Dear Sir, / Dear Madam,
The European Commission has entrusted Wageningen University & Research (‘the
company’) to conduct the study in subject, which is being carried out under a contract
between the company and the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural
Development.
Given the importance the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development
attaches to this study, I would be grateful if all private and institutional contacts could
offer their collaboration and provide the company with the information requested by the
contractor. The terms of the contract require the company to treat with confidentiality
any information and documents (except if publicly available), in any form, disclosed in
writing or orally in relation to the implementation of the contract.
