As the year 2o2S comes to an end and I retire from my judicial office, my service as President of üe Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia will also conclude.

on this occasion, allow me to express my sincere gratitude for the priülege of being part of the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of üe European Union. Engaging with you in this distinguished forum has been a genuine pleasure, and I have been

deeply inspired byyour expertise, dedication, and exemplary professionalism.

I am especially grateful for the trust, openness, and collegial spirit that have marked our interactions. The exchange of perspectives within the Network has greatly enriched my service and will remain among üe valued memories of my judicial career. The strong relationships among our institutions, each entrusted with safeguarding fundamental rights, give renewed confidence in the judiciary's central role within a state governed by the rule of law.
