Hello! We are pleased to hear about your interest in forest planting. Every spring, on a Friday in May, we organize a Forest Planting Day, where all interested participants are welcome to join. The event takes place simultaneously in three different regions of Estonia, with each location accommodating up to 350 participants. One of these locations is in Southeastern Estonia, while the other two are near Harjumaa. RMK provides all necessary equipment for participants, including gloves, shovels or planting tubes, seedlings, guidance from our instructors, and a warm meal. The planting event lasts for three hours, during which each participant will have the opportunity to plant at least 50 trees. This event also offers a chance to learn more about the forest life cycle, forestry work, and RMK’s activities. In April, we will launch a dedicated website where participants can register for the event. Unfortunately, we are unable to organize separate planting days for companies, as the approximately six-week planting period is an extremely busy time for us. During this time, RMK is focused on planting millions of young trees across Estonia, and every minute is carefully planned. Involving volunteers requires supervision from our forestry specialists, along with various logistical arrangements. Hello, I am contacting you as the Eco-school coordinator for Tallinn European School. I have read on your website that it was possible to do tree planting through RMK. I was wondering if it could be possible to do it for our school. I have been thinking that it would be nice to have an event that could include our students, staffs and parents. I wanted to know if the tree planting was hold at the specific date or if the dates were flexible. I am also curious about the cost. Regards, Kenty
