This is to inform you that the Estonian State Forest Management Centre (RMK) is
pleased to support the proposal
Comprehensive tool for policy makers to find balanced use of bioresource to reach energy
independence and climate neutrality "Wood biomass and energy parity tool" (COMPASS)
We would like to express our strong interest in the COMPASS project, especially in supporting
the project with available data and the participation in advising the development of the policy
supporting application. As national public authority that is directly linked to the enhancement
of wood production and as leading actor towards the National commitment to the
implementation of the EU Green Deal programme and the National targets for sustainable
regrowing wood resources and reduction of Carbon footprint, we hope to contribute to the
success of the project.
