My name is Engineer Abdallah ABDUL WAHAB, representing the Business Incubation Association in Tripoli (BIAT – Lebanon). Following your successful participation in the previous EU Horizon project BuildERS, we are reaching out to express our interest in joining or supporting a consortium preparing a proposal for the upcoming call: HORIZON-CL3-2026-01-DRS-01: Designing new ways of risk awareness and enhanced disaster preparedness

Our Interest & Added Value
BIAT collaborates with an extensive network of Lebanese and Mediterranean universities, SMEs, municipalities, and innovation actors. We can contribute through:
• Strong capacity in outreach, policy uptake, dissemination, and exploitation
• Support for innovation, business models, and climate-smart practices
• Climate-resilience demonstration contexts (Mediterranean, semi-arid zones)
• Expertise in regional agro-practices, value chains, and risk-mitigation strategies
• Access to living labs across diverse Mediterranean agricultural systems
• Data on climate-change impacts, water-use efficiency, and smallholder practices
• Stakeholder engagement with cooperatives, local authorities, and producer groups
• Pilot sites for socio-economic, behavioral, and governance studies
• Links to Middle East & North Africa markets and farming communities

Our Role in the Consortium
We would be pleased to contribute as:
• Support entity for innovation, business models, and climate-smart practices
• Pilot region / case-study partner
• Stakeholder-engagement and co-creation facilitator
• Dissemination, exploitation, policy-uptake and capacity-building partner
• Socio-economic data contributor and provider of local testing sites
