The European Commission is pleased to invite you to the 8th edition of the European

Civil Protection Forum.

To participate, please register here before 15 April 2024.

Since its first edition in 2003, the Forum has evolved into a significant European

assembly for professionals and decision-makers engaged in civil protection. It serves as

an essential platform for knowledge exchange, discussion, and collaboration among

stakeholders involved in European civil protection policy. Starting from 2024, it takes

place under the umbrella of the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network

Highlights of the 2024 edition:

• Theme: Shaping a Disaster-Resilient Union: Charting a path for the future of

European Civil Protection.

• Key Objectives: Reflecting on the Union's achievements in civil protection,

fostering knowledge exchange and innovation, and discussing the future direction

of the Union Civil Protection Mechanism.

• Civil Protection Village: A central feature of the Forum, it will showcase

innovative solutions, good practices and projects in disaster risk management. It

will be an interactive space offering ample opportunities for professional

networking with peers from across Europe.

This year the event will be held in-person, with only a few selected sessions being web-

streamed. For the latest updates and detailed information, including the agenda of the

event, please visit our official event page.
