The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) presents his compliments to Member States and regional economic integration organizations and has the honour to refer to resolution WHA78.1 (2025), which established the open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group (IGWG) on the WHO Pandemic Agreement.

Member States are informed that the fifth meeting of the IGWG will be held at WHO headquarters, Geneva, from 9 to 14 February 2026 in a hybrid format. The fifth meeting will open at 09:00 (CET) on Monday, 9 February 2026.

Meeting registration and access As of January 2026, the Organization has migrated to a new registration platform

(CVENT). Registration of all delegates is required from 22 January 2026 and must be completed by 5 February 2026 via the following link: https://events.who.int/IGWG5. In view of limited capacity, the link will be deactivated at the close of the deadline with no further opportunity to register. During registration in Cvent, all delegations are required to upload an accreditation, detailing the delegate(s) in the following format: email address, Country, name (first name and surname of the delegate).

A personalized link to access the virtual platform will be sent to delegates who registered for the fifth meeting within the deadline.

In view of the space restriction in connection with ongoing renovations at WHO headquarters, up to two persons per delegation are invited to be physically present in the meeting room at WHO headquarters, with other members of the delegation participating through the virtual platform.

The documentation for the meeting will be published at the following link: https://apps.who.int/gb/IGWG/ as soon as available in the six official languages.

In accordance with resolution WHA49.9 (1996), and to support the aim of achievement of SDG 5 (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls), the Director-General invites Member States to consider that gender balance be applied to their delegations.

Le Directeur général de l’Organisation mondiale de la Santé (OMS) présente ses compliments aux États Membres et aux organisations d’intégration économique régionale, et a l’honneur de se référer à la résolution WHA78.1 (2025), en vertu de laquelle l’Assemblée mondiale de la Santé a décidé de créer un Groupe de travail intergouvernemental à composition non limitée sur l’Accord de l’OMS sur les pandémies.

Les États Membres sont informés que le Groupe de travail intergouvernemental tiendra sa cinquième réunion du 9 au 14 février 2026 au Siège de l’OMS, à Genève (Suisse), selon des modalités hybrides. La cinquième réunion s’ouvrira le lundi 9 février 2026 à 9 heures (HEC).

Inscription et accès aux réunions

Depuis janvier 2026, l’Organisation utilise une nouvelle plateforme d’inscription (CVENT). Les déléguées et délégués doivent s’inscrire à partir du 22 janvier 2026 à l’adresse : https://events.who.int/IGWG5. Les inscriptions devront être achevées le 5 février 2026 au plus tard. En raison de la capacité limitée, le lien sera désactivé à la fin de la date limite et il n’y aura plus d’autres occasions de s’inscrire. Lors de l’inscription sur CVENT, toutes les délégations sont tenues de télécharger une accréditation répertoriant les membres de la délégation selon le format suivant : adresse électronique, pays, nom (prénom et nom de famille du délégué ou de la déléguée).

Tous les délégués et déléguées s’étant inscrits à la cinquième réunion dans les délais impartis recevront un lien personnalisé d’accès à la plateforme en ligne.

En raison du manque de place dû aux rénovations en cours au Siège de l’OMS, deux personnes au maximum pourront être physiquement présentes dans la salle de réunion au Siège de l’OMS, tandis que les autres membres de la délégation participeront à la réunion par l’intermédiaire de la plateforme en ligne.

Генеральный директор Всемирной организации здравоохранения (ВОЗ) свидетельствует свое уважение государствам-членам и региональным организациям экономической интеграции и имеет честь сослаться на резолюцию WHA78.1 (2025 г.), предусматривающую учреждение Межправительственной рабочей группы (МПРГ) открытого состава по Соглашению ВОЗ по борьбе с пандемиями.

Уведомляем государства-члены о том, что пятое совещание МПРГ будет проведено с 9 по 14 февраля 2026 г. в гибридном формате в штаб-квартире ВОЗ в Женеве. Совещание откроется в понедельник, 9 февраля 2026 г., в 09:00 (по центральноевропейскому времени).

Регистрация участников и доступ на совещание

С января 2026 г. Организация перешла к использованию новой платформы для онлайн-регистрации (CVENT). Делегатам необходимо пройти обязательную регистрацию, которая откроется 22 января 2026 г. и закроется 5 февраля 2026 г. по гиперссылке https://events.who.int/IGWG5. Ввиду ограниченной вместимости помещений в штаб-квартире гиперссылка по истечении указанного срока будет деактивирована, и дополнительных возможностей для регистрации предоставляться не будет. В процессе регистрации в системе Cvent всем делегациям будет необходимо загрузить аккредитационный документ содержащий следующие сведения о делегате (делегатах): адрес электронной почты, название страны, имя/фамилия делегата.

Всем делегатам, зарегистрировавшимся для участия в пятом совещании в установленный срок, будет направлена персональная ссылка для подключения к виртуальной платформе.

Ввиду нехватки помещений, вызванной текущими ремонтными работами в штаб-квартире ВОЗ в Женеве, Швейцария, в зале заседаний могут присутствовать не более двух членов каждой делегации, а остальные члены делегаций будут участвовать в работе через виртуальную платформу.

El Director General de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) presenta sus respetos a los Estados Miembros y a las organizaciones de integración económica regional y tiene el honor de referirse a la resolución WHA78.1 (2025), por la que se estableció el Grupo de Trabajo Intergubernamental de Composición Abierta (en adelante, «el Grupo de Trabajo Intergubernamental») acerca del Acuerdo de la OMS sobre Pandemias.

Se informa a los Estados Miembros de que la quinta reunión del Grupo de Trabajo Intergubernamental se celebrará en la Sede de la OMS, en Ginebra, del 9 al 14 de febrero de 2026 en formato híbrido. La quinta reunión dará comienzo a las 09.00 horas (hora de Europa Central) del lunes 9 de febrero de 2026.

Inscripción y acceso a la reunión Desde enero de 2026, la Organización ha migrado a una nueva plataforma de inscripción

(CVENT). Todos los delegados deben efectuar su inscripción a partir del 22 de enero de 2026 y finalizarla a más tardar el 5 de febrero de 2026 en el siguiente enlace: https://events.who.int/IGWG5. Debido a las limitaciones de aforo, el enlace se desactivará una vez concluido el plazo y no será posible inscribirse posteriormente.
