INVITATION TO THE INTERNATIONAL WEEK TO BE HELD ON 17-21 JUNE2024

1. I have a pleasure in inviting the cadets and academic staff from your respected military institution to the lnternational Week to be held on 17-21 June 2024 at the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania (MAL).

2. lt is our pride and pleasure to have such an international team-building event focused on the most important topics in military education, for the sake of further developing a common security and defence culture. We believe this can be another step towards easier recognition of equivalent training done in another country, which in turn facilitates professional education and training exchanges, as stated in SQF- MILOF.

Academic modules of Cyber Security (1), and Common Security and Defence Policy (2) The modules provide intensive studies in two international mixed teams, one per module; each team is about 20 PAX, including the national cadets. Two ECTS. Three cadets (2-3 yr.) from military institutions - the MAL's strategic partners from Belgium, Estonia, France, Greece, Latvia and Ukraine; One academic staff per institution willing to be engaged in

one of the above modules. Highlights of Vilnius through a guided sightseeing tour (1); outdoor sports activity (2). 16 June 2024 MAL campus dormitory, free of charge. Address: Silo g.5 A; two persons per room Three meals per day, provided by MAL, free of charge. 22 June 2024 No participant's fee; own travel arrangements from/to participant's country
