We represent SIA “Agile un Co”, a research team currently carrying out a project in cooperation with the Information Centre of the Ministry of the Interior of Latvia concerning the development of the Latvian single emergency number 112 service.
As part of this research, we are assessing the implementation of Real-Time Text (RTT) and Total Conversation solutions to ensure accessible emergency communications for all users, including persons with disabilities, in line with European Union accessibility
requirements.
Given Estonia's experience with the “Uue põlvkonna 112” project and your involvement in it, we would highly value the opportunity to learn from your practical experience. We would like to kindly invite you or a suitable colleague to a remote meeting to
discuss topics such as:
• practical experience with RTT and/or Total Conversation implementation;
• technical and operational challenges encountered during deployment;
• impact on PSAP architecture, workflows and operators;
• user adoption and real-life usage of accessible emergency communications;
• lessons learned and recommendations for countries currently planning implementation.
The information shared will be used only in aggregated form within the research to support informed decision-making for the future development of Latvia's 112 service.
