The memorial walk in memory of Latvian and Estonian Forest Brothers, 03.03.2024

Estonian Defence League Võrumaa District Rõuge-Vastseliina single company organized in

close cooperation with Latvian friends the memorial walk in memory of Latvian and Estonian

Forest Brothers who fell in the battles against the Soviet occupation.

Schedule

03.03.2024

1000-1015 – Gathering. Gathering place – MURATI-VEICLAITSNA former border post (at the

moment Super Alko 1000)

1015-1600 – The memorial walk:

 Walking (approx. 1km) from the border point to the bunker of Peters Viks

squad;

 Movement to the location of Naapka battle (commemorating the fallen by

placing candles);

 Commemorating ceremony at the memorial stone in the village of Naapka;

 Movement by transportation to the lake PABRA;

 Movement to the location of the Pabra battle;

 At the end of the memorial walk soup, tea and coffee at Andri Peedoś goat farm

café.

NB! Personal ID is mandatory

Dress code:

Clothes suitable for the weather. Flag committees in military uniform.
