Excellency,
We have the honour to invite you to the United Nations Public Service Forum, which
will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia, from 23 to 25 June 2026.
This event will be held under the theme “Transforming Public Institutions: Advancing
Innovation, Accountability, Participation and Inclusion”. It is co-organized by the United
Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the Ministry of Justice of
Georgia.
Public institutions face increasingly complex challenges, from rapid technological change
to growing citizen expectations and persistent inequalities. Addressing these challenges requires
innovative approaches to public service delivery and transformation in how public institutions
run and operate. The 2026 Forum will focus on four key elements - innovation, accountability,
participation, and inclusion – that shape how public institutions respond to complexity and
change and can support public institutions in strengthening trust and delivering more equitable
public services.
Over three days, participants will explore innovative approaches to governance through
workshops, plenary sessions, and a Ministerial Roundtable, with ministers, senior government
officials, mayors, and representatives from civil society, academia, the private sector, and
international and regional organizations expected to attend. The Forum will also host the 2026
UN Public Service Awards Ceremony, which will recognize outstanding public service
initiatives from across the globe that have led to more effective and responsive public
administration.
To confirm your participation, we kindly ask you to register via our registration portal unpsf2026.org with the following unique login code by 15 May 2026.
