To the attention of Estonia’s delegation to the One Health Summit.

On behalf of the Africa Europe Foundation, I am very pleased to inform you that a strategic Africa-Europe roundtable will be convened in the margins of the One Health Summit on 7 April (18:30–20:00).

The exchange will bring together a group of African and European senior leaders from policy, science, development finance and philanthropy to reflect on how the One Health agenda can move from political commitment to operational delivery, with particular attention to Africa and cross-regional partnerships (find attached the concept note, which provides additional background on the objectives and format of the discussion).

This strategic roundtable will be moderated by Gunilla Carlsson, Chair of the Governing Board of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and Co-Chair of the Africa-Europe Foundation Health Strategy Group.

In this context, we would be most grateful if you could kindly indicate the appropriate member of your delegation we could officially invite to participate in the closed-door discussion.
