Estonia is a modern and fully digital maritime state. Ship registration and management processes are efficient, paperless and designed to minimize administrative burden, allowing shipowners to operate smoothly and remotely.

Estonia offers a competitive corporate tax system with 0% income tax on undistributed and reinvested profits, supporting growth and fleet development. In addition, state aid measures such as the tonnage tax regime and seafarer scheme enhance the competitiveness of vessels under the Estonian flag.

As an EU-compliant flag listed on the Paris MoU White List, Estonia maintains high standards of safety, transparency and performance.

We are also advancing innovation and sustainability initiatives, including retrofit solutions and cooperation within Estonia’s maritime cluster. During Singapore Maritime Week (20–24 April 2026), Estonia will be represented with a national stand, offering further opportunities for international collaboration.
