As the 79th World Healih Assemhlv (Wl-IA) is scheduled 10 take place from Mavi 8-23 iii Geneva.

on behalf of the Government of the Republic of China (Tai\van). 1 am writing to inform you that a

delegation led by our Ministry of Health and Welfare will he in Geneva during the Assemblv. The

delegation aims to Iaunch Taiwan’s annual campaign to join the WHA as an observer, as weII as to

meel with officials and medical experts from diplomatic allies and Iike—minded countries.
