Invitation to the presentation of the ODAEC project
and participation in the project
Dear colleagues,
The NGO Open Data Association, while implementing a project supported by the European Union under the EU Anti-Fraud Programme (EUAF), aimed at protecting the financial interests of the EU and combating fraud, and coordinated by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), expresses its respect and appreciation for ongoing efforts in preventing and combating corruption, investigating offences, and safeguarding public financial resources.
In this context, representatives of relevant institutions are invited to participate in the project “Open Data Education Against Corruption & Fraud: Training for Public Authorities on Monitoring EU Financial Assistance” (ODAEC).
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of law enforcement agencies and public institutions to detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and corruption offences, particularly those related to the use of European Union financial assistance, through the practical application of open data tools.
Participation in the project will contribute to ensuring the practical relevance of the training programme and support the exchange of professional experience among national and international stakeholders.
Participation in the opening event as a speaker would also be highly appreciated.
The event will take place offline on 28 April 2026. Its objective is to present practical perspectives of key stakeholders on:
● key challenges in protecting the financial interests of the European Union in Ukraine; ● the role of law enforcement authorities in preventing fraud and corruption; ● opportunities for using open data in investigations and enhancing transparency in the use of
international financial assistance.
Participation in the project, including the discussion of practical experience and real cases, is expected to contribute not only to strengthening interagency and international cooperation, but also to the development of a high-quality, practice-oriented advanced training course.
Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them
