SUPREME COURT REPUBTIC OF ESTONIA
Hon. Justice Martha Koome, EGH Chief Justice and President Supreme Court of Kenya
Tartu,9 April2026 No 7-8126-221
Honourable Chief Justice, dear Madam President,
I was recently, on March 16 delighted to take part with you in the Global South Network's online judicial dialogue on "Backsliding of the Rule of Law", organized by the Leicester Law School. It was a pleasure and very informative to listen to your presentation.
Two days ago, I received wonderful message from the Secretary-General of the International Association of Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions (AIHJA) that I have been selected for an internship program at the Supreme Court of Kenya.
Honourable Chief Justice, I would like to confirm that I would greatly appreciate the oppor- tunity offered by the association to learn more about the work of your court and experience your wonderful country. Thank you very much for offering this opportunity to colleagues around the world.
In accordance with the recommendation of our association's Secretary General, I am writing to you to arrange the period of the internship. I would be able to visit your court at any time between September 26 and November 20,2026. From my perspective, it would be preferable to begin my internship at the end of September or at the beginning of October.
I would be very grateful if you could let me know which time frame would be most convenient for the visit to your court. I can then immediately get back in touch with AIHJA headquarters to arrange the fuither travel details.
Please find attached my CV
Once again, thank you very much for the opportunity to participate in the exchange program at Supreme Court of Kenya.
Yours sincerely,
furr, ftc-q'ž Ivo Pilvin'g Chairman of the Administrative Law Chamber
