Subject: Invitation to the 41st meeting of the European Electricity Regulatory
Forum (Florence, 28-29th May 2026)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am pleased to invite your organisation to be represented at the 41st meeting of the
European Electricity Regulatory Forum:
Date: 28-29th May 2026
Location: Chamber of Commerce, Stock Exchange Room located in Piazza
Mentana (Florence)
I have enclosed the provisional agenda for the meeting.
Input from all participants is welcome during the Forum. However, unless you are
specifically invited to make a presentation on a topic, we would ask that you do not use
slides in order to provide as much space as possible for discussion. Background slides or
information (slides with explanations, descriptions of procedures and timelines, own
policy papers) can be sent to the Commission for publication on the “European
Electricity Regulatory Forum” website.
Please submit your presentations and other relevant documentation for publication on the
website by Thursday 13th May 2026. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to
accommodate presentations submitted after this date.
I would invite all stakeholders to look at the discussion topics and actively take part.
Experience in previous meetings has shown that direct interventions without slides
usually contribute much more to a focused debate.
For your information, the conclusions from the previous meeting of the Forum can be
found at: 40th European Electricity Regulatory Forum - European Commission

For logistical reasons and to adhere to strict number limits for the venue, your
organisation is invited to send one representative to take part in the meeting, with
limited exceptions for certain organisations. Please note that travel and other expenses
must be paid for by participants.
Each participant must register online via the following form by Thursday 7th May
2026: https://register.event-works.europa.eu/dgscic/elecreg26/e/lk/g/89435/k/
In registering please do not forget to insert the name of the organisation you will be
representing in the Forum, specifying the right category, as it shall be displayed on the
badges and nameplates as well as the other required information.
Should you have any questions or suggestions regarding the organisation or content of
the Forum, please do not hesitate to contact the team in charge of the organisation, Unit
