Dear Minister Joller,
We are pleased to invite you to an exclusive breakfast discussion hosted by Economist Impact, “Shaping the future of brain health: what it means for economic growth,” taking place on Wednesday, May 20th, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in Geneva, alongside the World Health Assembly.
This high-level session will bring together policymakers, clinicians, patient organisations and senior stakeholders to explore how brain health can be more effectively prioritised within national strategies, and what this means for broader economic and societal outcomes.
We are also pleased to share the current speakers confirmed for the discussion:
Speakers include: Rym Ayadi – President, Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association Celia Oreja-Guevara – Vice-chair of neurology, Hospital Clínico San Carlos
Moderator: Amanda Stucke – Principal, health policy and insights, Economist Impact
The discussion will explore how improved measurement of neurological disease burden can inform both policy and investment decisions across healthcare systems. Key topics will include:
● How brain health can be better embedded into national health frameworks ● Gaps in understanding the broader economic and societal impact of neurological conditions ● The role of patient experience in shaping more effective policy decisions ● Lessons from existing health strategies, including dementia, and how these may be applied more
broadly
This is a select, senior-level discussion, and places are therefore limited. We would be delighted to welcome you should you be attending the World Health Assembly in Geneva.
To confirm your attendance, please register here.
Should you have any questions or if you would prefer for us to reserve a place for you directly, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Yours sincerely,
Aaron Dityalux VIP & Senior Delegate Manager Economist Impact

Good Morning Dr Joller,
I wanted to personally invite you to an exclusive breakfast discussion hosted by Economist Impact in Geneva this May.
We’re convening a select group for “Ambition meets reality: can governments deliver on obesity policy?”, sponsored by Lilly. It will be a focused conversation on the latest global developments in obesity policy and what is required to deliver population-level impact.
As obesity climbs the global health agenda, attention is shifting from ambition to delivery. From food labelling and fiscal measures to primary-care reform and access to treatment, governments are under growing pressure to translate commitments into coordinated, system-wide action.
With new WHO guidance and advances in obesity medicines reshaping the conversation, this session will explore where real progress is being made—and what continues to hold countries back.
Event details:
Title: Ambition meets reality: can governments deliver on obesity policy?
