As this year’s conference highlighted, the Joint Expeditionary Forces (JEF) is the embodiment of the Northern alliance. It is an essential coalition to deliver collective security efforts and it complements NATO. The presence, insight, and commitment from all of the JEF Chiefs of Defence and Canada made a significant impact at this year’s conference and aided the success of the overall event. Thanks to the generous time given by you and the other Chiefs of Defence, and your willingness to share your knowledge and insights, it was our best conference yet. It is through such engagement that we strengthen our collective preparedness and ensure our ability to respond to emerging threats. We look forward to building on the outcomes of this conference and to welcoming you back to LDC in 2027. We will be in touch soon with your team to communicate the date of LDC 2027 and alongside the JEF CHODs we also look forward to inviting your minister of defence to attend and participate.
