Dear Mr. Võrklaev, Dear colleague, Last December your office received a formal invitation for the Ministerial Meeting scheduled for February 26, 2024 in Ghent. I’ve joined this letter and the program in attachment.

At the moment that I am writing this letter we received a positive answer with regards to your presence together with the news that the Head of Delegation will be a department director. While we would be delighted to welcome the director as representative for your country, I would like to express my sincerest hope with this letter that you would find a slot in your calendar to join this Ministerial Meeting in person.

The Ministerial Meeting in Ghent continues on the path of transnational collaboration between public administrations. It aims to set some important milestones to ensure that public employers lead by example and continue building workforces that excel in competency and drive. Public employers that care for the wellbeing of their employees and attract talent based on a clear employer brand. We would like to reach some calls to action regarding international collaboration between public administrations and that drive our government departments to excel.

I am sure that you have some best practices to share that can help colleagues form their strategy, as I am sure that we all could learn from one another in return.

To reach our ambitions it is of the utmost importance that we as members of government meet on a regular basis. That is why I would be very honoured to welcome you in person in Ghent. It would also be my pleasure to offer you the floor to talk about an inspiring project or policy during the Ministerial Meeting.

Could you please let me know if you would be able to attend? And, if so, if you would like to share an initiative or good practice?
