I am reaching out to follow up on our email dated 8 December 2025 and the letter dated 17 December 2025 from Mrs. Kristiina Selgis, Head of the Department of Benefits and Pension Policy at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

During our exchanges at the end of 2025, we had the opportunity to clarify that while the ECB is a supranational EU institution, it operates independently from the European Commission and other EU entities governed by the Pension Scheme of European Officials. Considering this, you acknowledged the importance of a formal dialogue to ensure full alignment between our respective systems. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and your openness to engaging in discussions regarding the specificities of the ECB’s pension arrangements.

To move forward, we would be delighted to arrange an online meeting to exchange insights and to go deeper into the details of our respective pension systems. At your convenience, could you kindly share 3 to 4 potential dates so that we can schedule the meeting accordingly?
