Dear colleagues,
The Supreme Court of Ukraine has been deeply saddened by the untimely death of Judge Urmas Volens of the Supreme Court of Estonia (2020–2025).
We send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
We recall with warmth his visit to the Supreme Court of Ukraine in November 2023, where he took an active part in professional meetings and discussions with Ukrainian judges.
The bright and kind memory of Justice Urmas Volens will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
