Dear ColleagĮļes,

On behalf of Estonian Ministry of the Interior it is my deepest regret to inform you that Estonia

was unable to deciare its readinęss on time to allow to go live with the SIS Recast according to

the agreed timeline on22 November. Please find below an overyiew of Estonia's cĮĮffent state

of play with the SIS Recast implementation.

Estonia launchedPSAT test on 19 October, whichwas lasttest of different EU tests series. After finishing the test on 21 october, rrnfortunatģ it showed several problems in our national

systems are still present. Our technical team carried out an in-depth analysis and investigations

to understand the problems and how, and within which timeframe, these could be solved to be

able to go live. The conclusions of the analysis are the following:

. With current system readiness, Estonia is not ready to go Live with SIS Recast n2022;

. Main problems that emerged from the PSAT test ale:

o Data loss (approx. I0%);

o Performance issues (can't handle the broadcasts);

o Data qĮļahty is not acceptable. . By 9 January 2023 atthe latest, Estonia can start another PSAT test;

. By 18 January 2023 atthe latest, Declaration of Readiness to be submitted.

The infonnation has been also shared with the members of the eu-LISA Management Board Members.
