Subject: Notification of Award Decision taken
Ref.: HOME/2022/AMIF/AG/EMAS/TF1/EE/0010
Dear Sir,
I am pleased to inform you that the above-mentioned application has been positively evaluated on
the basis of the award criteria established in the work programmes and financing decisions for
emergency assistance within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
The maximum amount of EU contribution awarded under the AMIF is EUR 10 100 000, and the co-
financing rate is 100%.
The emergency assistance will focus on first reception needs, and support Member States’ efforts
under the Temporary Protection Decision of 4 March 2022 for the initial processing and registration
activities and referral of persons to specialised support services. The use of the Union contribution in
the form of financing not linked to costs should facilitate and accelerate the provision of funds in a
situation where real actual costs might fluctuate greatly, and should minimise administrative burden
for the Member States.
The EMAS Evaluation Committee suggested that, in general, some technical aspects relating to the
means of verification proposed by the Member States could be verified as part of the grant
preparation to ensure that they follow the logic of the decision. This will be followed up by contacts
between our services at technical level.

Please note that the present letter does not represent any commitment on the part of the Commission
that could constitute ground to any claims concerning the signature of a grant agreement. The
Commission may, until the agreement is signed by both parties, either abandon or cancel the
procedure without this entitling you to any compensation.
Yours sincerely,
Beate GMINDER
